Bright Lights Notebook Privacy Policy

Bright Lights Notebook is a private internal software tool used by authorized Bright Lights Pediatric Dermatology personnel within the brightlightsderm.com Google Workspace organization.

Information accessed

Depending on the user’s authorized workflow, Bright Lights Notebook may access:

• The user’s Google account email address and basic profile information
• Google Docs used as Bright Lights patient charts
• Google Drive files and folders used for authorized practice records
• Google Sheets used for authorized patient, visit, document, and workflow information

How information is used

The add-on uses this information only to support Bright Lights Pediatric Dermatology operations, including clinical documentation, visit workflows, document creation, staff handoffs, task tracking, and chart completion.

Storage and disclosure

Information handled by the add-on is stored within Bright Lights Pediatric Dermatology’s controlled Google Workspace environment and authorized practice systems. Bright Lights Pediatric Dermatology does not sell information accessed through the add-on or use it for advertising.

Information is disclosed only as permitted for authorized practice operations, patient care, legal obligations, or at the direction of Bright Lights Pediatric Dermatology.

Access and security

Access is restricted to authorized brightlightsderm.com users. Administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used to protect information. Users must follow Bright Lights Pediatric Dermatology privacy, security, and device-use policies.

Data retention

Practice information is retained according to Bright Lights Pediatric Dermatology’s legal, clinical, and operational retention requirements. Access may be removed when a user no longer requires the add-on for authorized practice work.

Google API data

Information obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide the add-on’s documented internal functions. It is not sold, used for advertising, or transferred for unrelated purposes.
